People wanting to buy acai should always remember that acai, like so many other products, comes in many different forms. Some of these forms are better than others. Specifically, some forms of acai contain more actual acai than others. A few quick checks on the ingredients list and you can be confident when you buy acai

Why does it have to come in the form of these products rather than as a juicy, nutritious berry? Unfortunately that’s unavoidable. Whether the lack of actual berries or not for those wanting to buy acai is a good or bad thing is open to discussion. The reason is that the acai berries degrade really quickly once the Brazilians have picked them from their tall palms.

Fortunately the products that are available can be really good, and actually they’re a lot more convenient than the berry in its raw form. It depends on your decision about where to buy acai on the actual range you will be offered. It is up to you to decide whether to buy acai in the form of powders, pulls, juices, preserves, pulps of purees. Whatever you choose, you can be sure that your decision to buy acai was a good one. Good health!

Monavie juice is a brand name — owned by Monarch Health Sciences — that covers a number of products based around acai juice. Acai is reportedly the worlds best known super food and it is becoming increasingly popular as a dietary aid. The fruit is exotic and can usually only be obtained outside Brazil as a pulp or a juice. Monavie attempted to corner the acai juice market some time ago. Unfortunately for its owners the marketing campaign just started off on the wrong foot, and Monavie has been the subject of much criticism throughout its short lifespan.

Firstly, critics question why Monavie is so expensive compared to its rivals — acai juice from the Amazon Thunder brand comes in at under half the price of Monavie. Secondly nutritionists point out that Monavie actually contains very little acai, making a mockery of the term acai juice.

Perhaps the most disturbing practice from Monarch Health Sciences is to market Monavie juice as some kind of fantastic panacea. We’re all aware that acai juice is potent stuff and that it will do us a lot of good, but Monavie just took the claims of greatness that little bit too far. Misleading customers is never welcomed, and Monavie was no exception.
