It seems like everyone wants to take acai berry products or find some frozen acai berries to eat these days. That’s because they products offer a huge amount of nutritional benefits, including antioxidants, essential fatty acids, amino acids, fibre, vitamins, and much more. They can help fight fatigue and even help with weight loss. But when your teenager comes to you and says they want an acai berry product, should you allow them to take it? Is the acai berry good for teens?

Acai berries themselves and products that only contain acai berry extract or acai berry juice have no side effects and are one hundred percent natural. Therefore, there really is no harm in allowing your teen to take these products. However, if the product contains other ingredients (and many pill products do), you should make certain none of those products have side effects. You should also speak with your teen’s doctor about the product your child wants to take. During the teen years, the body undergoes many changes, and while the acai berry is very beneficial, it may simply not be the time to introduce it or any other new nutritional supplement to the body.
